Although solar options as a renewable energy source have been around for some time now, they weren't always thought of as an accessible commodity. Prices were steep and the payoff seemed only theoretical in nature with projections being set 10 years into the future. However across the world, this perception appears to be changing as solar finds its way into some of the lesser-known and more impoverished markets. This is happening through word of mouth from those that could benefit from solar the most, but are often the last to be considered for it. These stories exemplify what happens when smaller communities are offered options that larger regions take for granted.
